Morgan Hall Red

Made up of 80% Chambourcin grapes and 20% Petite Sirah grown in Arrington, in Williamson County, this red was created by Arrington Vineyards in Middle Tennessee. Aged for 18 months in French and American Oak barrels, Morgan Hall Red is dry with smooth tannins and flavors reminiscent of wild blackberry, mulberry, and vanilla oak. This is the perfect gift for UT alumni and fans who tend to drink dry reds like Merlot or Syrah.

Tennessee’s Beacon Bright

We traveled to West Tennessee to source this delicious white! Made with Cayuga grapes grown in Humboldt, in Gibson County, this dry white wine has hints of honey, green apple, and citrus. Refreshing and crisp, this wine embodies the spirit of its name. If you like Pinot Grigio, we are sure you’ll love Tennessee’s Beacon Bright by Crown Winery.

Sweet Traditions

Not a wine drinker? We’ve got you covered! We traveled to East Tennessee to Apple Barn Cider House in Sevierville to get Sweet Traditions, composed of Tennessee peaches, apples, ginger, and sweet tea. The peaches were sourced from Mayfield Farms. The combination is perfect with just a hint of spice from the ginger and the right amount of sweetness coming from the peaches and apples. This hard cider is just under 7% alcohol and is perfect for cider and sweet wine drinkers.

Become a Vino Volunteer

The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture has partnered with the Tennessee Farm Winegrowers Alliance to release limited edition wines. Tennessee to the core, each blend features locally grown grapes so that you’re truly tasting Tennessee. The Vino Volunteer Program was established to raise awareness of the Tennessee wine industry and the support for Viticultural research through University of Tennessee’s Institute of Agriculture. Every bottle of UT Wine purchased contributes to the Peter Howard Endowment for Wine & Ag Tourism directly supporting the viticulture industry in the state of Tennessee through student internships at Tennessee vineyards, wineries, and other agritourism locations.

For this release Arrington Vineyards introduced a smooth, dry red called Morgan Hall Red, and Crown Winery created a refreshing white called Tennessee’s Beacon Bright. To complement these phenomenal wines, Apple Barn Cider House created a sweet cider made from Tennessee peaches and apple called Sweet Traditions.
